University Al-Azhar Indonesia has welcomed numerous international students over the years who come from all over the world, including South Africa, Japan, Thailand, and China. Now, on May 07, 2025, two of UAI’s international students from Egypt wanted to further their studies by taking a master’s degree in Islamic Education at UAI.
Building Blocks

The students visited the Office of International Affairs and Partnership of UAI, where they were received by the Head of the Office of International Affairs and Partnership of UAI, Dr. Mohamad Ghozali Moenawar, Lc., M.M., and the Head of the International Cooperation Section, Muchammad Nasucha, S.S., M.Si. In the discussion between the respective parties, the international students wished to continue their studies at UAI by taking a master’s degree in Islamic Education. Nevertheless, they were quite unsure about the modalities and how to fulfill the fiduciary requirements of the program.
Dr. Ghozali and Mr. Nasucha proposed that the students should apply for the King Salman Foundation.
In response to your financial constraint, we believe it’s best for both of you to apply for a scholarship under the umbrella of the King Salman Foundation. We (UAI) will facilitate the administration process to ensure a smooth and swift process of your scholarship submission.
Conclusion

As the visit comes to a fruitful end, the international students, Dr. Ghozali and Mr. Nasucha, took a group photo. The visit has sparked a new hope for UAI’s international students that hopefully will result in a positive note. Aamiin. (BR)
