Indonesian National Athletes are being an asset for Indonesia future. Therefore, Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia (UAI) and Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) agreed with the future of athlete’s well-being through signed MoU by Chairman of the KONI (Letjen TNI (Purn.) H. Marciano Norman) and Rector of UAI (Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Asep Saefuddin, M.Sc.) coincided with “Peringatan Sumpah Pemuda” day on Monday, 28th October 2019.
UAI provides the scholarship for 50 National Athletes achievers in 3 majors; Accounting and Management majors (Faculty of Economic and Business), and Law majors (Faculty of Law). The scholarship implemented with Blended Learning System. Blended Learning is a lecture system which combines online and offline learning. So that, the National Athletes could continue to practice their own skill sports and also study in college. By doing so, this scholarship program can be one of the solution for future of the National Athlete in Indonesia.
