University Al-Azhar Indonesia (UAI) believes collaboration should not be limited due to differences in religious beliefs or political ideologies. With that in mind, UAI partners come from all around the globe, including the Middle East, North America, Asia, and Europe. This was aimed to advance respective parties’ institutions services, facilities, and human resources. Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute was no exception.

Basis of Framework

The YPI visit was conducted on February 18, 2025, and it was spearheaded by the Director of International Affairs of YPI, Mr. Wang Du to explore collaboration prospect. The Head of International Affairs Section of UAI, Muchammad Nasucha, S.S., M.Si., and the Head of Chinese Literature Department, Feri Ansori, S.S., M.Ed received him. The meeting was carried out in the Meeting Room of Chinese Literature on the 5th floor of UAI. Mr. Wang Du offered to cooperate in establishing Luban Workshop, a technical training programs and vocational education exchanges where Chinese Lecturers will teach UAI students.

Then, collaboration in MoU signing, student exchange, and working in China for UAI students. In the near future, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) board of YPI intends to come to UAI to sign an MoU agreement and to finalize the prospect of collaborations.

Conclusion

As the discussion came to an end, Mr. Wang Du visit was concluded with a group photo and awarding gifts to Mr. Nasucha and Feri. The discussed collaboration programs possessed a profound and immense value for both parties to enrich their approaches and advance their capacities as education institutions. Aamiin (BR)
