Monday (13/2), Global Innovation Technology Platform (GITP) together with INOTEK Foundation (Business Incubator Based on Technology, Ecosystem Builder and Accelerator) visited University Al-Azhar Indonesia (UAI) to socialize how to enter China’s Market by joining Global Entrepreneurship Competition. It is divided into two categories which are the Innovative Talent Program and the Young Talent Program in 2023. The event which took place in Serbaguna Room, 2nd floor of UAI, was attended by Mr. Raffles Chan, The CEO and Founder of GITP and with some of delegates from INOTEK Foundation.

The first category is the Innovative Talent Program which requires participants to have a Ph.D. degree with one of the following qualifications; professional and technical personal and operation and management personnel; associate professor or above; or skilled personnel. Meanwhile, the other Young Talents Program is designed for applicants who have Ph.D. degree, under 40 years old, engaged in natural science, engineering, and other fields, and have positions overseas well-known universities for more than 36 months.

The competition offers very tempting rewards. It enables the winner to become technology leader in every specialty and explores an individual’s potential in innovating in overseas markets especially in China. It also will connect the winner with those enterprises who are interested to adopt or collaborate with their innovations. Financially, the winner for the Innovative Talents Program will earn 1 million Yuan and the winner for the Young Talents Program will receive 500.000 Yuan. Additionally, the local government also provides 1:1 worth equivalent support or package as the state government.  

Delivered some words, Prof. Dr. Ir. Asep Saefuddin, M.Sc., expressed his appreciation to GTIP and INOTEK Foundation for spending their time to visit UAI. He said that it surely will be a good chance for UAI’s Academica to present breakthrough ideas and projects. It is his belief that lectures also can encourage students to participate. He also added that when he was a kid, he was busy focusing on his studies instead of learning business at the same time. It is his hope that 80% of Indonesian Youth can be entrepreneurs and by having this chance we can slowly but surely realize it.
