University Al-Azhar Indonesia (UAI) and Australia Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT), have been discussing untapped cooperation possibilities for quite some time. Currently, the collaboration talks between both parties have been more concrete and profound. On December 23, 2021 respective institutions met through online platform to further materialize the cooperation prospects. Both institutions touched the topic on Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TESOL).

TESOL program collaboration between respective parties will be for Master Degree on TESOL Program for UAI students. UAI and AIBT discussed the feasibility and mechanization of this program. The second deliberated project is transfer credit program, wherein the Faculty of Economy and Business of UAI and International Relations Study Program of UAI will collaborate with AIBT. The faculty and study program will send their students to study in AIBT up to 6 months for 3 subjects.

The last two projects are the homestay program and English Camp, the homestay program will delve on the possibility of UAI students to learn English and other subjects virtually. Meanwhile the English Camp program will be discussed further on. Whilst from the outside, the cooperation talks between respective institutions seems tedious and lengthy.

In reality, UAI and AIBT carefully formulate the collaboration program that will benefit and flourish respective institutions students, that in turn will have positive multiplier effect towards Indonesia and Australia.
