Director of The Office of International Affairs, Thammasat University Ms. Duangchai Subhasaram
The Director of Al Azhar Indonesia University Office of International Affairs, Hidayat PhD, visited Ms. Duangchai Subhasaram, Director of International Affairs of Thammasat University, Bangkok, July 9th 2012.
During the meeting, potential colaborations were discussed including participating in the up-coming International Seminar on Green Technology at UAI, academic exhange programs including students and faculty members, research collaboration, etc.
Thammasat University (TU) is the second oldest university in Thailand, and is one of the best known and respected institutions of higher learning in the country. TU has had a long history of international academic collaboration and successful international programming. Currently, TU offers 24 Undergraduate, 25 Master, 10 Doctoral international programs across 15 faculties and Language Institute. It has 270 exchange and cooperation agreements with 42 countries. Each year there are over 300 new international students coming to the university to study under various options from one semester to four years, in both non-degree and degree programs.
