Appreciation of Nusantara Corporate Scholarship Partners and Education Facility Investment Program Al-Azhar University Indonesia 2021 was conducted by University Al-Azhar of Indonesia (UAI) in August 18, 2021. This event was carried out in regard to cherish the education fund assistance and scholarship given to UAI by UAI partners such as, PLN Baitul Maal Foudnation (YBM PLN), PT Habibillah Energi Adidaya, Amil Zakat National Agency (BAZNAS) and Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company.
The appreciation ceremony was attended by all the Vice Rectors, relevant Deans, Head of Study Programs and Directors. The ceremony commenced with partner report by Ir. Ade Suryanti, M.M. as the Vice Rector II of UAI, entailed with opening remarks by the Rector of UAI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Asep Saefuddin, M.Sc.
Prof. Asep remarked to the students who received scholarship from UAI partners “Even though currently you were given scholarships, you must look forward to the future. Construct a future that will enable you to help your juniors by granting them scholarships. We must have a state of mind to help the people who needs.”.
Prof. Asep sentiment was echoed by representatives of UAI partners in their opening remarks and they conveyed that they will continue to help UAI. Afterwards the ceremony was continued with symbolical plaques gift as a form of appreciation and gratitude. The symbolical plaques gift was given by the Rector of UAI to representatives of UAI partners, Mr. Salman Alfarisi as the Deputy Director of YBM PLN, Ir. Jaka Legawa as the Managing Director of PT Habibillah Energi Adidaya, ,Mr. Mohamad Arifin Purwakananta as the President Director of BAZNAS and Mr. Winadi Sunoto as the Director of Human Resources, Governance & Risk Management of Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company.
Subsequently, the impression and messages by students representative who receive scholarship took place, Dary Zhafran from Electrical Engineering and Nurhasanah from Islamic Counseling Guidance were the students representative. The ceremony come to an end with group picture and prayer by Mohamad Ghozali Moenawar, Lc., M.M. as the Head of Sub. Directorate of International Cooperation.
The Appreciation of Nusantara Corporate Scholarship Partners and Education Facility Investment Program Al-Azhar University Indonesia 2021 ceremony not only solidified UAI and its partners relation however it also served as catalyst for UAI, UAI partners and UAI students to furthermore assist the impoverished people.
